From “the Classic Portfolio”, this image of a sexy woman icily appraising her man has become one of Newton’s most iconic and recognisable images. The woman is positioned in an extremely un-lady like pose in a classic role reversal. We know exactly what Newton is suggesting despite the fact that the male model is not even fully seen in the shot.
This image was one of ten chosen to promote Newton’s exclaimed “Private Property” series of exhibitions in the early 80s and is available to buy as a rare vintage poster.

This is a rare pre-1985 original vintage print produced in small numbers from a series of transparencies that Newton considered his most provocative and important work through 1985.

The print is unsigned but comes with a Certificate of Authenticity
