Henrietta Allias is probably best known as the cover picture on Sumo, Helmut Newton’s famous, massive book. She was paid $75 for the shoot but her photograph, arguably the most recognisable and famous of Newton’s “big nudes” later sold for over $300,000 USD. 

She is naked yet defiant; vulnerable yet tall, strong and powerful the very epitome of Newton’s big nudes.
