Copy of Chilling Leopard – Black & White

The photograph is taken at Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda. Karl and the guide were looking out for the notorious tree climbing lion with no luck. On the way out of the park they came across another car that had spotted a leopard. At that time it was not laying in the same position as portrayed and actually was hard to see and photograph. The other car left, and the guide told Karl that they could eat lunch right there on the spot while watching the leopard. Halfway into the lunch the magic happened, the leopard changed its position and the photograph was taken.

Karl explains “maybe one of my luckiest photographs ever taken, this will not happen again in my lifetime.”
